Stakes and Strategy
A downloadable game
"You are the Class Protectors. Your mission is to explore the supernatural, deal with vampires and demons, and protect your high school from whatever baddies this forsaken place attracts. Oh, and you better keep your grades up or you'll never get out of this town."
Stakes and Strategy is a hack of the iconic game Lasers and Feelings by John Harper. It's also my first completed and released game. Consider it my love letter to Buffy the Vampire Slayer. It's quick and easy to jump into, and is designed to create melodramatic stories of demon slaying mayhem (slay-hem?) even for those who have never seen a single episode of BTVS. Just select one of 9 character archetypes, define your place in the story by choosing a role and motivation, and decide if you're better at Stakes (passionate individual action, navigating the supernatural) or Strategy (cautious collaborative planning, navigating the mundane).
Can you stop the Big Bad and save the school? Find out in Stakes and Strategies!
